Eighty river clean-ups later, what we learned about leadership, debris, and dignity.

We never set out to lead. We set out to listen. Eighty clean-ups later, the river runs clearer — not because of us, but because the youth picked up tools their parents could not afford. This is what climate adaptation looks like in eMlinda: not a plan from above, but a hand reaching into the water from below.
